– Identifying key international buyers, suppliers, major origins and developing the business plan in tandem with global context.
– Effectively manage all aspects of the business to ensure profitability & growth, fully responsible for the P&L of the business segment
– Managing the cost aspects of the business effectively and ensuring profitability
– Strategic long term planning for organic and inorganic growth of the business segment
– Responsible for enhancing shareholder value through establishing and pursuing the strategic direction for the business to capture a sizeable share of the
– Manage operational and commercial performance to improve at every level, implement KPI’s to support this.
– Provide leadership and support to Business Development; Operations; and support functions such as pricing & revenue management, capacity planning & network management, alliances and distribution
– Drive profitability targets. Provide leadership, development, direction and foster growth & revenue.
– Build operational capabilities and ensure utmost efficiency in operations.
– Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and key customers.
– Develop and aggressively grow the business through identification of trends and opportunities and then implement strategies to succeed along with new service offerings
– Ensure effective annual financial planning and annual budget management support, including management of resource.
– Ensure effective & accurate reporting and monitoring of the financial plan.
– Supervising statutory compliances.
– Develop relationship with Trade Partners & parties with whom we have a business interface.
